The third time was a charm for Marquette as they beat Villanova 80-76 on Thursday in the Big East Tournament Quarterfinals on Thursday afternoon at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Darius Johnson-Odom made five of seven three pointers, leading the Golden Eagles with 24 while Lazar Hayward had 20 points and seven rebounds.
